Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

GriefShare

GriefShare: Sunday Nights from 5:00-6:30 p.m. - led by Pattie Davis

GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a loved one. Losing a loved one to death is like walking in the Valley of the Shadow of Death. But you do not have to walk alone. San Saba's First Baptist Church cares about your heart and your relationship with Christ. We invite to come to a 13-week confidential and safe environment support group. At GriefShare you will find Christ who can fill all the holes that are in your heart.

Join us on the path from Mourning to Joy. GriefShare support groups are designed so that you can begin attending on any week. Each week your GriefShare group will watch a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects.

AWANA

awana

San Saba First Baptist Church has an active and growing children's and youth ministry in the Awana program that spans the ages from pre-school to high school seniors.  We have fun, fellowship, activities and games - all with a purpose; to help us develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.

We encourage you to get involved in your children's spiritual growth - Awana can be a great way for you and your children to learn more about what God and His plan for your life.

We welcome all children and youth to come join us on Wednesday evenings from 5:55 PM to 7:15 PM for a time of fun and learning.  We welcome parents to be a part of our program as well.  You can call the church for more information (325-372-5761) or come on Wednesday night!
