Bro. Samuel Crosby has served as pastor at First Baptist since September of 1998. He and his wife, Jan, have four daughters. He comes from a family of thirteen children from Coryell County of whom many are in ministry roles. In 1989, Bro. Sam graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. In 1993, he graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree. His previous pastorates include Osage Baptist Church near Crawford, Texas, First Baptist Church, Lometa, Texas, and First Baptist Church, Paducah, Texas. He celebrated 25 years of ministry in August of 2010. Bro. Sam's desire is that the church be a vibrant body of growing disciples that reflect the character and love of Jesus with a zeal to reach a lost world.

Bro. Danny Ingram has served as Minister of Music and Business Administrator since August of 1996. He and his wife, Wendy, have 3 children. Bro. Danny holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Howard Payne University and a Masters of Music degree from Hardin-Simmons University. He was fomerly Minister of Music at First Baptist Church in Copperas Cove. Bro. Danny has conducted and/or directed many musical productions including: Cinderella, Brigadoon, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, It's a Wonderful Life, and the Passion Play. He has also been a guest lecturer on the subject of church music. He is also an Ajunct Professor of Church Music at Howard Payne University.

Bro. Alvino Valdez is serving as our Church Life Minister and Facilities Manager. He and his wife Lisa have three children, and five grandchildren. Alvino worked with at risk youth for 16 years for the Texas Youth Commission prior to answering the call to ministry. Alvino also served as pastor of High Valley Baptist Church at Bend Tx. for approximately 2 years prior to coming on staff here at FBC. Alvino is currently pursuing a degree in theological studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brother Alvino has a passion for evangelism, discipleship, and promoting loving relationships amongst the Body of Christ.

Shelia Meador

Gifted in music, with a love for kids, Shelia Meador brings over 30 years experience in children's ministry and entertainment to San Saba FBC. Her greatest desire is to see children come to know Jesus personally and to grow in their relationship with Him. Shelia is very excited about children's church Sundays at 10:30 and hopes you will send your children to learn about Jesus with her. Shelia is the proud parent of 8 and grandmother of 6.
