The new semester of Dive Deep at San Saba's First Baptist Church has begun. Classes are Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. Below are the classes being taught.
Step by Step Through the New Testament- By Rick Mitchell, this study provides a framework for understanding and interpreting the New Testament, and teaches biblical background material. This study is led by Pastor Sam Crosby.
Defending Your Faith; An Introduction to Christian Apologetics - In this study, Danny Ingram will introduce you to the fundamentals of Christian apologetics and teach lessons on the historical reliability of the New Testament, the deity and authority of Jesus Christ, and the inspiration and authority of the Bible.
Making Children Mind Without Losing Yours - In this 6-session curriculum, Kevin Leman guides you in bringing out the best in your kids, understanding their actions, maintaining authority, gaining your teenager’s respect, encouraging self-esteem, and turning hassles into successes. Facilitated by Kelli and Darrin Barker.
Vivid; Youth Study - Do your youth’s lives reflect their beliefs? This 6-lesson will challenge your youth to evaluate their faith and their actions, to identify where the two don’t match up, and to make the necessary changes to live a life of vivid faith.
For Kids:
WAM (Worship through Arts and Music) - All children are welcome to attend WAM with Shelia Meador. Your children will learn songs about glorifying Christ as well as fundamentals of vocal techniques.
Club 56- Bring your 5th and 6th graders to join Shelia Meador in learning about Jesus and the Bible. This exclusive club for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls begins at 5:00 p.m. prior to Dive Deep.Nursery care is provided for all Dive Deep classes.
